Assignment: Take time this week to write about YOU and your feelings of trials and triumphs with homeschooling. Touch on when you first heard about the concept of home schooling and whether you tip-toed into the idea or just jumped in and never looked back. Share your schooling as a child and how you compare it to what your goals are for your children.
My husband and I first heard about homeschooling before we were married. We had run into a former co-worker of Dougs at a restaurant and they had their 4 children with them. We were so impressed with their family and asked what their secret was.. Homeschool was their answer! That was the first time we had heard of homeschooling and instantly looked at each other and said Yes, thats for us! :) (more to come)
